Q. Can I make any room requests to my reservation?
A: Yes. We are happy to send a note to our in-resort contacts and make room requests on your behalf. As always, requests are based on availability at check in. Travelling with a group? We'll cross reference the bookings for you so the resort will know to room you as close together as possible.
Q. Is there a resort dress code I should follow in resort?
A: While staying at a resort, you can look your best while still being comfortable. Most resorts do not have specific dress codes, but certain general expectations about attire do apply. Around the resort, wearing casual clothing including shorts or pants, T-shirts, tank tops, cotton, and knit shirts is acceptable. Dress in temperature-appropriate comfortable clothing. Breathable fabrics like light cotton and linen will help keep you cool. Men can wear either shorts or pants and casual shirts.
Dress code and Resort dining: Ladies, remember to bring a cover-up. Most resorts will not allow you to have lunch on-site at any of the restaurants in just your bathing suit; same for men, if you’re wearing swim trunks only you will need to put on a shirt. Men should remember to bring at least one pair of long slacks as most properties do have a dress code at the specialty/a-la-cart restaurants. They can turn you away if you do not adhere to the dress code. Some properties offer a clothing optional experience. Please ask your travel consultant for details on specific resort guidelines.
Q. How much do children pay for travel?
A. Infants under two years of age throughout the duration of their vacation may fly and stay free, but must sit on an adult’s lap and do not receive a separate baggage allowance. Some scheduled airlines may charge for infants, including air-related taxes, and some countries do charge infant departure taxes.
Restrictions may apply to “Kids Stay, Play and Eat FREE” programs and most hotels require that children must be accompanied by full-paying adults and pay airfare. Policies vary by individual hotels. Hotels may check the passports of children at check-in to verify they qualify for any discounted child room rate. At select hotels in Cancun and Riviera Maya, a single parent traveling with up to two or three children (varies by hotel) is not charged the single supplement. The hotels reserve the right to collect the single supplement in resort, or cancel any extra room upon arrival, if the promotional policy is not used in the manner for which it was intended. Restrictions apply.

Q. How much do your services cost?
A. Our services are free.
Q. Do you offer timeshare vacations?
A: Absolutely NOT! Unlike many other travel companies on online, we sell vacation packages for specified dates. We DO NOT sell certificates or timeshare programs. A vacation should be just that – “a vacation” and a time to relax and enjoy yourself. A vacation is not a real vacation if you’re constantly pressured by timeshare sales reps and stuck in mandatory timeshare meetings throughout your stay. Say "No thank you" to time share programs that can cost you thousands of dollars in the future!
Q. Will I receive e-tickets or travel documents?
A: Once you are paid in full, travel documents will generate. Depending on the type of package, electronic travel documents will be emailed to you or physical documents will be mailed to you. If emailed, you will need to print them and bring them with you for all components of your vacation.
Q. What are the baggage rules? Will my airline charge me to check in a bag?
A. Many airlines charge fees for checked and/or carry-on bags and have different baggage allowances and fees. Please check with your airline for specifics.Carry-on luggage is limited to one bag per person and must be small enough to fit beneath the seat in front of you; some airlines have a carry-on bag fee. PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT EXCESS/OVERSIZED BAGGAGE MAY BE DENIED AT CHECK-IN and if accepted, there will be additional charges. Anyone attempting to check-in excess baggage should arrive at the ticket counter a minimum of 2 hours prior to departure (except where a carrier specifies a longer minimum), or risk being denied boarding. Lap children under age two do not receive a separate baggage allowance. Easy Escapes Travel accepts no liability for loss or damage to luggage. We recommend that passengers consider the use of a TSA approved lock to secure their luggage. For details on baggage insurance, ask your travel agent.
Q. Do you offer travel insurance?
A: Yes. Travel insurance is highly recommended to protect your investment.
Travel insurance is optional, however, it will give you peace of mind that you're covered in case anything doesn't go according to plan. Just like car or home insurance, trip insurance is something you think you may never have to use, but sure are glad you have it if something unexpected does happen. We offer various types of insurance options depending on the coverage you desire. Click to get an instant trip insurance quote. We have plans that cover cancel for medical reasons, trip interruption, baggage loss, medical expenses while on your trip, etc. We also offer cancel for any reason plans. Without insurance, most vacations are non-refundable.
Q. Is the destination safe?
A: Common sense precautions are strongly recommended wherever your travels may take you. Please visit The US Department of State’s website for the most up-to-date travel safety advisories. Some countries require insecticide spraying of aircraft prior to a flight or while you are on the aircraft. Federal law requires that we refer you to Transportation.gov for more information.
VALUABLES AND OTHER PERSONAL ITEMS ARE YOUR RESPONSIBILITY. Most hotels offer safety deposit box facilities. You may want to deposit cash, traveler’s checks, passports, jewelry and other valuables for security. Do not pack cash, medication, jewelry, cameras, film, important documents or fragile items in your checked luggage.

Q. Can you help me book flights?
A: Yes, we can book flights from any US departure city as long as there is a hotel component.
If you're lucky enough to live in a major city like Atlanta (ATL), Baltimore (BWI), Boston (BOS), Cleveland (CLE), Cincinnati (CVG), St. Louis (STL), Denver (DEN), Philadelphia (PHL), New York (JFK), Milwaukee (MKE), Chicago (ORD), Pittsburgh (PIT), or Minneapolis (MSP), we have exclusive non-stop flights to major all inclusive vacation destinations like Cancun, Riviera Maya (Mexico), Punta Cana (Dominican Republic), Montego Bay (Jamaica), Guanacaste (Costa Rica) and Puerto Vallarta (Mexico). These special package flights can usually be secured with a low per person deposit.
Q. Why book with Easy Escapes Travel?
A: Tired of spending countless hours searching for vacation "deals" online?
Did you know, the average person spends 60 hours researching vacation options for one trip? And sadly, far too many people find out the hard way that the pictures, videos, and opinions online aren't always accurate. In fact, professional resort photos are made to look very beautiful (actually, they all start looking the same after a while).
Save time, money, and frustration by working with an Easy Escapes Travel advisor to help you plan your next vacation. We make it "easy" for you with customized packages, daily deals, and exclusive discounts made available only to travel professionals. We will be on standby for you every step of the way and will be your advocate before, during, and after your vacation. The best part yet -- our travel planning services are FREE!
Fun fact: Did you also know, when you book "on your own" via an OTA "online travel agency" booking engine, you are still booking through a travel agency? And if you ever need assistance, the average OTA booking agent you speak to at over at Expedia, Travelocity, Orbitz, Booking.com, etc. is usually outsourced, located at an international call center, and has never left their country! You'll probably spend more time on hold to speak with a live person than the length of time they will dedicate to your dream vacation. Easy Escapes Travel, on the other hand, will match you to one of our travel experts who specializes and has actually been to your destination of choice. Your assigned travel advisor will help you design your perfect escape.
Our service is priceless and the reality is, without a travel professional on your side, you’re on your own.

So depending on your age, taste, lifestyle, and budget, we will match you to the right destination/resort.

If your vacation package includes flights, instant purchase of your flights may be required along with a small hotel deposit and balance is due 45 days prior to travel date. In some cases, we have special unpublished "package" airfare that will allow your air and hotel to be secured with a small $150 - $200 per person deposit and balance is due on or before 45 days prior to travel date.

The following information gives current requirements for United States citizens, effective 2012: Passengers of all ages returning to the U.S. by air from any international destination require a valid passport. A state-issued birth certificate with government-issued photo I.D., or a passport “card”, is not acceptable. Passports must be in good condition and passengers may be denied boarding by the airline if a passport is damaged, mutilated or has excessive wear. If your name on your passport (or for non-U.S. citizens, valid travel documents) does not match your name on your travel vouchers/tickets, you will not be allowed to travel. All passengers 18 and over traveling within the United States (including the Hawaiian Islands) or to any U.S. territory (including Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands) require only a valid government-issued photo I.D.
For U.S. citizens traveling to Costa Rica and most European countries, a passport valid for three months after the day of arrival is required. For travel to Panama a valid U.S. passport is required for all travelers and must be valid for six months after the date of arrival. For details on how to obtain a passport, contact your local courthouse or post office. If you are not a U.S. citizen, contact the embassy of the country to which you are traveling to determine required entry documents. We regret that we cannot accept unaccompanied minors under 18 for any travel. Failure to comply with the above requirements will result in you not being allowed to travel. Please visit www.travel.state.gov for the most up-to-date travel requirements and passport requirements.
